Impressions of our conference in december
From 15 to 17 December 2005 the Thomas Instituut te Utrecht held its third international conference at the conference centre ISVW at Leusden (NL). Here are some pictural impressions, taken on the last day of the conference.
To visit the conference - entitled 'Divine Transcendence and Immanence in the Thought of Thomas Aquinas' - 50 participants from 12 countries had travelled to the conference center ISVW at Leusden...
... to discuss Thomas Aquinas' thoughts about God, creation, Christ and his sacraments and grace and life eternal.
The conference program contained main lectures...
....as well as paper sessions...
... and an excursion to the new university library of Utrecht University on Friday night.
Looking back on a successful and inspiring event, a small committee is now preparing the proceedings of the congress that will be published in the winter of 2006/07.
This conference was organized with financial support of among others Netherlands Organisation of for Scientific Research (NWO), Radboudstichting, the Catholic Theological University at Utrecht and the Tilburg Faculty of Theology.
