Dr. J.I.M.X. (Jörgen) Vijgen

Jörgen Vijgen (1974) teaches systematic philosophy and the history of philosophy at the Major Seminary St. Willibrord (Diocese of Haarlem-Amsterdam), the Major Seminary of Rolduc (Diocese of Roermond) and the Major Seminary St. Janscentrum (Diocese of ’s-Hertogenbosch).
After studying philosophy and history in Antwerp, Louvain, Padua and Rome, he obtained his Ph.D. at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas (Angelicum) with a dissertation entitled Eucharistic accidents ’sine subiecto’. A Historical Trajectory up to Thomas Aquinas and Selected Reactions (Director: Prof. W. Senner op).
